KAIDO in brief
Kaido expresses the process of studying the art and the union of techniques and tactics in the martial world.
Karate, judo, aikido, ju-jitsu and other martial arts form the basis of the practitioner’s fighting techniques: strikes, holds, joint locks, throws and ground fighting.
Iaido, jo, bo, sai, tonfa, nunchaku and rope are the basis for the use of weapons in self-defence. Kaido makes equal use of all these techniques, with an unarmed or armed partner, in practice and in competition.
In the dojo, practitioners wear appropriate clothing (kimono, GI) together with the belt of their rank. Kaido masters and instructors usually wear blue trousers.
